Randall W Brown DMD
Dr. Randall Brown is native of the Pensacola/Gulf Breeze area graduating from Gulf Breeze High School in 1974. He attended the University of Florida in Gainesville, Florida from 1974 to 1987 during which time he completed his Bachelor of Science degree in neurobiology and accounting.
He attended the College of Dentistry and subsequently completed his Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery residency program at the J. Hillis Miller Health Center/Shands Hospital in 1987. Since that time, Dr. Brown has maintained a private practice in the Pensacola/Gulf Breeze area.
Dr. Brown is board certified for the full scope of the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and has maintained his skills and knowledge through attendance of numerous continuing education courses and practicing the full scope of procedures of his specialty since 1987. Currently he has begun concentrating his practice on office-based dentoalveolar procedures in conjunction with the use of both general anesthesia and IV Sedation. Additionally, he has begun offering both surgical and nonsurgical Facial Rejuvenation procedures including:
1) Botox Cosmetic (www.botoxcosmetic.com/home) for remedy of frown lines
particularly in the Forehead regions and now for Headache and Facial Pain in certain patients .
2) Radiesse Dermal Filler (www.radiesse.com) now FDA-approved as a one-year dermal filler for correction of moderate to severe facial folds and wrinkles.
3) Restylane and Perlane (www.restylaneusa.com) injectables for all types of facial lines and folds especially for sensitve areas such as the upper and lower lips.
4) OBAGI Medical products(www.obagi.com) for rejuvenative skin care.
His interests also include the placement of Dental Implants for reconstruction of the dentition and normal occlusion in conjunction with restorative dental colleagues and currently uses the Nobel Biocare Implant system (www.nobelbiocare.com).
Primarily working from the Gulf Breeze office, Dr. Brown also maintains full surgical privileges at Gulf Breeze Hospital where he performs major reconstructive procedures. Most dentoalveolar, implant, and facial rejuvenative procedures are performed in his new Gulf Breeze office utilizing intravenous anesthetic techniques to provide a painless surgical and nonsurgical (for example, injection of facial fillers) experience without the additional cost of using an outpatient surgical center.
